About Us

The health centre in Mellerud has approximately 8,000 registered patients. We are a well-functioning unit staffed with doctors, district nurses, specialist nurses, nurses, assistant nurses, and medical secretaries. A strong mental health team consisting of psychologists and PTP psychologists also works here. Under the same roof, we have a rehabilitation clinic and public dental care with which we collaborate closely. We also have a child health centre located at the family centre. The health centre has undergone a restart regarding accessibility and medical quality within the general medical mandate.

You always have access to supervision by an experienced specialist on site. You are expected to contribute actively to our improvement work with great opportunities for personal development. In Mellerud and Dalsland, we work with rural medicine, a way of working, a way of being, and a way of life, consisting of distance and proximity. About the Job

Your duties at the health centre span a broad field and encompass general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with reception duties and digital healthcare meetings in primary care.

You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in an stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming climate. The role also includes supervising ST and AT doctors as well as medical students; it is an important part of our mission to train tomorrow's healthcare personnel. About You

You are a licensed doctor with specialist training in general medicine and are authorized to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, at level C1 or higher according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement for the position.

We are looking for someone who can work independently but still wants to participate in the development of the operations. In your work, you meet many different patients, so it is important that you are receptive and have a good approach to people. You thrive in teamwork, and for you, it is natural to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work.
